Request for Participant Status

If you wish to become a participant in the collaboratory or initiate a project, fill in the following form. Please be aware that the title and summary of implemented projects may become part of collaboratory progress reports and may become accessible through the NIH CRISP database.

Upload a spectrum (graphic) such as an HSQC illustrating the feasibility
of the project and need for higher field operation.(600 MHz or higher)
[acceptable file types: gif, jpg, png, ps, pdf; maximum file size: 2 Mb]
File:

Please provide a short description of the spectrum. (e.g. field strength,
temperature, salt concentration, buffer and expected changes at higher field)

Type of spectrometer use requested:

I would like to use the 900 on a LIMITED basis to explore its utility for this project.
I would like to use the 900 on a CONTINUING basis for this project.

What specific advantage (or additional data) do you expect the 900 to provide over
and above that available from other high field instruments, such as an 800 MHz NMR?
(For example, this might be resolution of specific peaks in sample spectra, field dependence of
relaxation measurements, measurements of parameters dependent on field induced orientation, etc.)

SECNMR Specifics

It is presumed that most collection of data will be the responsibility of an operator nominated by the participant and approved by the SEC NMR spectrometer manager. Approval will require additional information on the qualifications of the operator.

If you would like to designate an operator now please enter the name of the proposed operator. You will receive a link via email for the Operator Information form after submission of this Initiate a Project form.

I agree to report published works that benefit from Collaboratory activities to Collaboratory
personnel and to include an acknowledgment similar to the following in any publication:

This research benefited from activities at the Southeast Collaboratory for High-Field Biomolecular NMR, a research resource at the University of Georgia, funded by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS grant number GM66340) and the Georgia Research Alliance.
